Overview
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Embedded Engineer to join our engineering team. This role involves end-to-end hardware development including schematic design, PCB layout, embedded software development, and system integration. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing reliable, high-performance electronic solutions aligned with our product and innovation goals.
As we are actively engaged in research related to space technology, the ideal candidate should have a keen interest in recent trends and developments in satellite systems, propulsion, and advanced communication technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complex, multi-layer PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, OrCAD, etc.).
Perform schematic capture, component selection, and library management in compliance with electrical design standards.
Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI standards and adhere to DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) guidelines.
Generate and maintain complete design documentation including schematics, layout files, Gerber files, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
Develop, implement, and optimize embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers such as ARM Cortex-M, STM32, AVR, or similar platforms.
Integrate and interface with hardware peripherals (sensors, actuators, displays, communication modules).
Conduct system-level debugging, validation, and performance tuning.
Prototyping, Testing, and Validation
Lead PCB bring-up and conduct functional and performance testing.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Support design verification, pre-compliance testing, and design iteration based on test feedback.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and product quality.
